Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr Get Ready to Rock Radio City for David Lynch Foundation
Press Conference at Radio City - Paul Signs Autographs, Ringo Still Says NO Thanks!
A very rare photo opportunity happened at Radio City Music Hall when surviving Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr came together with a host of other friends to announce a special benefit concert to support filmmaker David Lynch's foundation to teach one million children meditation techniques.
The music legends have agreed to play a one night only concert in New York on April 4th to raise funds for the Lynch foundation.
McCartney and Starr will be joined by Sheryl Crow, Donovan, Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Moby, Paul Horn, and some surprise guests.
During the press conference the ex-Beatles reminisced about meeting Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and meditating in India.
"It was a great gift that Maharishi gave us… For me, it came at a time when we were looking for something to kind of stabilize us toward the end of the crazy '60s" - Paul McCartney
